Sean Hughes Signs as First Men's Coach

RKC Third Coast is excited to announce Sean Hughes has been appointed as the club’s new head coach of the Men's side.
Sean comes to us from Marquette University where he has been the Associate Head Coach of the men's team. He has been at Marquette for the past eight years.
"When meeting with Sean, he checked all the boxes of what we were looking for as our first head coach in franchise history. Strong local ties, D1 experience, previous head coaching stints, has recruited and developed MLS draft picks and the list goes on" states co-owner Wayne Howard.
As the first coach in the club's history, Sean is poised to set the foundation for all that comes in the future.
Louis Bennett, Marquette Men's Soccer Head Coach said, "Working with Sean the Associate coach at Marquette for several seasons, he has shown a great skill set as a coach, administrator and as important communicator. He’s a good person that cares and extremely dedicated to the game and his work in the game."
Additionally Coach Bennett states "Obviously he has worked with male players of college and USL2 ages and mentality so he is well versed in motivation, commitment and dedication of that generation

RKC Soccer Club Appoints Women's Coach

RKC Third Coast is excited to announce that John Burke has been appointed as the club’s new head coach of the Women's side. The recently named MaxPreps/CBS Sports National Coach of the Decade and United Soccer Coaches Association Coach of Significance recipient has signed a deal to take the helm at RKC.
"When we knew this project was going to come to fruition, my first thought as coach was John. More important than the excellence he produces on the field, John is a great person" states co-owner Wayne Howard. Fellow co-owners Brian Zikowski and Ivan Petrovic share that sentiment, "John wins wherever he is at but meeting him for the first time, it's clear to see the quality person he is."
The winningest High School girls’ soccer coach in Wisconsin history, John Burke retired from HS coaching with 14 State Championships, a National Title, and a career 540-59-45. Most recently, Coach Burke led the Bryant & Stratton College women’s soccer team to #12 in the national rankings, the highest national ranking in program history.
Coach Burke is also well-known for his service to children with special needs. For over 20 years he has led one of the most successful soccer programs for children with special cognitive and/or physical needs. US Cellular, the WYSA, and the USC have all honored Burke for his volunteer work in the special needs community. Most recently, Coach Burke received the Coach of Significance Award from the USC. The Coach of Significance Award is intended to recognize members who are coaching for character, using the soccer field to teach life lessons. The award recognizes excellence and the impact the recipients have within their schools and communities well beyond their records of wins and losses.
Coach John Burke lives in New Berlin with his wife, Mary, and four daughters, Mo, Maggie, Maria, and Molly.

USL provides an unparalleled platform of Path to Pro soccer for both men, women and youth.
The Men will compete in USL League 2, the highest level of pre-professional soccer in the nation. The women will compete at the highest level of pre-professional soccer in USL W league.
